Simple Marketing Strategies Versus an SEO Line of Attack!
Each and every day those of us on the Internet are bombarded with information about Search Engine Optimization and all that goes along with it. For the majority of folks who are promoting a business online, this can often lead to confusion especially when it comes to understanding key words, meta tags and title tags. But the real issue is not necessarily in how many people are finding your site, but in how many visitors develop into clients or customers. Attracting The Right Clients! The idea of making it on the web means attracting the right clients, those that want what you have to offer. When you give it some thought, wouldn't you conclude that how you market yourself is really what the Internet game is all about? Obviously, even if one does manage to reach the top of a search engine there are no guarantees that you'll stay there and more than likely all too soon you'll quickly be replaced. Basically, it's not so much about the traffic that's drawn to a site but whether the product or service is wanted. This is where simple marketing strategies come in. What Are You Attracting to Your Site? Suppose you receive a number of hits to your site on a daily basis, yet none of the people who visit become paying customers. Of what benefit is it to you if people visit but don't buy? Attracting a quality customer, someone who appreciates your products and services, is what being on the web is really all about. The number of hits to a site is of course important to some degree, but what is more important is magnetizing the type of person who appreciates and buys your products or services. What Can Guarantee Your Online Success? The only thing that can guarantee your online success is effective, yet simple marketing strategies. And while a number of online ventures have little knowledge in regard to marketing, whether you are a small Mom and Pop business or a mid-sized corporation, you have to take advantage of the many marketing strategies that are not costly. The key to marketing success is having the willingness to explore various methods until you find the one that works. But remember, almost invariably what works wonderfully today may not work tomorrow so you have to be open to exploring new means of marketing regularly. Simple Marketing Strategies! The following simple marketing strategies may be a perfect jumping off place for getting things flowing in the right direction. 1.Provide such a great service that everyone wants what you have to offer. If you furnish a product or service that fills a need and you do it with professionalism and style, the world will beat a path to your door regardless of your search engine placement. 2. Give something to get something. Find a way that helps others reach higher levels of success by being willing to support your fellow and sister entrepreneurs. One way is to write articles. Articles bring new clients and they also give you credibility. Become so experienced in your field of endeavor that others reach out to you for help. 3. Network regularly. Staying in touch with people you've worked with in the past clearly demonstrates your interest and your professionalism. Supportive relationships are the best part of maintaining healthy Internet communication. 4. Use the media. If you can't afford to use a large distribution service to send out a press release, use the free distribution services found all over the Internet, plus you should always submit a press release to your local paper and cable channels. Even if you are never invited for an interview by way of a newspaper, a press release gives incomparable exposure compared to others forms of advertising. 5. Be bold and a bit daring. Getting noticed means having to step out of your comfort zone. That may be a bit frightening at first especially if you're not used to promoting yourself, but remember if you keep on doing the same old things, nothing will change. 6. Pay attention to what grabs your attention. Notice what is appealing to you about a specific ad, web site or article. Why did it attract you? That may give you important clues that will help develop your own strategies. When it comes to marketing, the bottom line is that no one method can guarantee your success forever, which means you may have to try a few different strategies to find the one that works best. It may take several tries before finding the perfect marketing tool for your business, but keep on trying. Your efforts will be worth it in the long run.
